DOROTHY PROVINE NOUS QUITTENT

Dorothy Provine est née le 20 janvier 1935 , elle était chanteuse, danseuse et actrice. Ses premières heures furent à Dea$500.00 par semaine. À la grande ville d’Hollywood dans ‘’The Bonnie Parker Story’’ en 1958 et dans ‘’The 30 Foot Bride of Candy Rock’’ en 1959 où Lou Costello donna sa dernière apparition au grand écran.

Elle sera co-vedette dans ‘’Man without a Gun’’ mettant en vedette Red Reason. Elle sera aussi des séries ‘’The Alaskans’’ avec Roger Moore en 1959 et 1960 et ‘’TYhe Roaring Twenties’’ de 1960 à 1962 deux séries sur la chaine ABC. Elle touchera aussi à la musique en enregistrant un album dont les deux succès furent ‘’Don’t Bring Lulu’’(1961) et ‘’Crazy words Crazy Tune’’ (1962).

Elle sera de l’équipe de plusieurs films dont ‘’It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World’’(1963), ‘’Good Neighbor Sam’’(1964), The Great Race(1965), That Darn Cat(1965), Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die(1966), ‘’Who’s MInding the Mint?(1967) et ..Never a Dull Moment(1968). Elle épousera le directeur Robert Day en 1968 et se retire de la carrière d’actrice de film pour faire quelques apparitions dans des spectacles à la télévision.

Ils déménageront avec leur fils dans la banlieue de Bainbridge Island à Washington en 1990, Dorothy Provine meurt à l’âge de 75 ans le 25 avril 2010 victime d’emphysème. Elle laisse dans le deuil son mari et son fils.
