Il y aurait mention d’un environnement très connue des amateurs de la Ligue des Justiciers (Justice League) dans le retour au grand écran de Superman pour 2013 dans MAN OF STEEL. La rumeur cour qu’il y aura mention à propos de la princesse Amazonienne; Wonder Woman. Qu’Henry Cavill a déjà signé pour le film de Justice League et les suites substantielles pour Superman. Que Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson interprétera Lobo pour le deuxième film concernant le nouvel univers des films de DC.
Warner prépare déjà une renaissance pour Batman (The Batman pour 2016) avec un film ou l’on retrouverait le chevalier dans sa deuxième année de service, suivant le film de Justice League. Des films pour Justice League (2014) avec un budget prévu de 270 millions de dollars, Wonder Woman (2016) et The Flash (2017) serait déjà planifiés par le même studio.
Avec des recettes de près de 1,5 milliard de dollars; MARVEL’S THE AVENGERS a surement porter fruits et nous amènera enfin ce que les amateurs de films et de bande-dessinées attendent depuis l’éternité… JUSTICE LEAGUE. Qu’en pensez-vous?
Arrow: A Smallville spinoff (And other Smallville news)

It’s actually not really a spinoff. To be a real spinoff you need the same actor than in the original show. It’s more a rebooted spinoff. Warner took Clark Kent’s right hand guy from Smallville and gave him his own revamped show. In this version, Stephen Amell will wears the famous archer’s costume. Furthermore, the action will take place in Star City rather than Metropolis. Overall, Oliver Queen’s (Green Arrow) past seems to be compliant with the original character. Since Warner went with a different actor, they should have used the hype of the end of Smallville and start this show the following fall. Better yet, since it’s been over a year, why not go with Justin Hartley. He was loved by the fans, especially the ladies. Only time will tell if they can have the same success story than they did with Smallville. You can make up your own opinion by watching the sneak preview.

If you are a Smallville hard core fan, know that there is an eleventh season out in comic book. Clark has reached the full Superman status and is going head to head with his longtime friend and new nemesis, Lex Luthor. I didn’t have a look at it; I’m still grieving on the disappointing ending of the tenth season. I think it was disrespectful to deny the fans of a Superman/Lex Luthor scene. Sure we saw Superman but it was blurry computer generated images. The fans waited ten years to see Tom Welling wear the Superman costume. Was that really too much to ask? The storyline of the comic book is what happens to Clark after wearing the iconic costume. His feuds with Lex Luthor will become more intense while trying to juggle being a superhero, managing his career and having time for his relationship with Lois.
Superman’s Ladies Lana Lang and Lois Lane
Clark Kent had two great love in his life; Lana Lang and Lois Lane. The actresses who played the two roles in Smallville will both be starring in their own TV shows. The Vancouver native Kristin Kreuk stays at the CW and will have the lead role in “Beauty and the Beast”. It will be aired on Thursdays this fall, check your local listings to find the Canadian broadcaster.

For mysterious reasons that have forced him to live outside of traditional society, Vincent has been in hiding for the past 10 years to guard his secret – when he is enraged, he becomes a terrifying beast, unable to control his super-strength and heightened senses. Catherine agrees to protect his identity in return for any insight he may have into her mother’s murder. Thus begins a complex relationship between Catherine and Vincent, who are powerfully drawn to each other yet understand that their connection is extremely dangerous for both of them.
Erica Durance is coming home to play in a Canadian coproduction of CTV and NBC “Saving Hope”. She will bring to life Dr. Alex Reid. It will be aired on Thursdays at 9PM starting June 7 on both networks.

Synopsis: Charlie Harris, the charismatic Chief of Surgery of Toronto’s Hope-Zion Hospital, ends up in a coma, leaving the hospital in chaos – and his fiancée and fellow surgeon, Alex Reid, in a state of shock. Along with newly-arrived star surgeon, Joel Goran, Alex races to save Harris’ life. As the action unfolds, comatose Dr. Harris explores the hospital halls in “spirit” form, not sure if he’s a ghost or a figment of his own imagination. Reid, along with her fellow doctors, press on to save his life and those of their other patients, as they deal with the complicated and courageous decisions that are made in their daily struggle to keep hope alive.

GREEN LANTERN [Blu-ray] Dans un univers vaste et mystérieux, un groupe aussi petit que puissant agit depuis des siècles, le Corps des Green Lanterns (Lanternes vertes). Ces protecteurs de la paix et de la justice ont juré de préserver l’ordre intergalactique. Chaque Green Lantern porte un anneau lui conférant des super-pouvoirs. Quand un nouvel ennemi, Parallax, menace de détruire l’équilibre des forces régnant dans l’univers, leur destin et celui de la planète repose entre les mains de leur dernière recrue, le premier être humain à en faire partie : Hal Jordan. Hal est un pilote d’essai talentueux et imprudent, mais les Green Lanterns ont un peu de respect pour les humains, qui n’ont jamais exploité les pouvoirs infinis de l’anneau auparavant. Hal est clairement la pièce manquante du puzzle et il possède, en plus de sa détermination et de sa volonté, une chose qu’aucun des autres membres n’a jamais eu : son humanité.

SYNOPSIS : Billy Batson a été choisi pour délivrer le monde des sept péchés capitaux notamment l’orgueil, l’envie, la cupidité, la haine, l’égoïsme, la paresse et l’injustice. Il accepte et remplit cette mission en tant que Captain Marvel. Mais un jour, il doit combattre son plus mortel ennemi: Black Adam et pour cela, il s’allie à Superman. Mais au cours de cette mission, Billy découvre aussi le défi de tout héros: doit t’il se venger ou rendre la justice ?
Si votre super héros préféré est Captain Marvel (Shazam), ne sautez pas de joie immédiatement. Je suis désolé de vous annoncer que ce n’est pas un film, mais de courts épisodes. Ce disque fait partie de la collection «DC Showcase Animated Original Shorts». Ce disque contient quatre mini épisodes d’environ vingt minutes de Shazam, The Spectre, Green Arrow et Jonah Hex. Pourquoi intituler ce disque Shazam ? Probablement, car c’est l’épisode le plus long, soit vingt-cinq minutes. Vous en aurez plus à vous mettre sous la dent en visionnant les suppléments. En effet, vous trouverez quatre autres épisodes des séries Batman : The Brave and the Bold et Justice League Unlimited qui mettent en vedette les quatre personnages principaux mentionnés précédemment. BATMAN: Uunder The Red Hood (Blu-ray)
DC Universe nous offre une version ‘’dark’’ de Batman en haute résolution, un film qui risque de ce faire des adeptes un peu partout dans le monde. Le caractère de Batman est l’un des plus vieux de l’histoire de la bande dessinée et le plus populaire donc je vous promets 75 minutes de pur plaisir.

Je recois Guy Caumartin (aka Le Frelon) et discute des sorties cinématographiques de l’adaptation de la bande dessinée THE LOSERS et du western canadien GUNLESS.
THE LOSERS. Récit explosif doublé d’une histoire de vengeance, « The Losers » s’intéresse à certains membres de l’élite des forces spéciales américaines envoyés dans la jungle bolivienne pour une mission destructrice. Sur place, l’équipe composée de Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch et Cougar est la cible d’une trahison mortelle orchestrée par un puissant ennemi connu sous le nom de Max. Présument éliminé, le groupe concocte un plan afin de riposter au même moment qu’il accueille Aisha, une superbe agente qui a son propre agenda. Ensemble, ils doivent rester cachés tout en se lançant sur la trace de Max, un homme fort bien protégé qui cherche à plonger le monde dans une importante guerre technologique.
GUNLESS. Ayant échappé à la pendaison, le hors-la-loi Montana Kid, blessé, les mains attachées, se laisse porter par sa fidèle monture jusqu’à Barclay’s Brush, un village de vingt-neuf habitants dans le dominion du Canada. Dès son arrivée, l’Américain belliqueux a une altercation avec le forgeron Jack, qu’il provoque en duel, suivant le code de l’Ouest, le seul qu’il connaisse. Or, dans ce pacifique patelin, il n’y a qu’un seul pistolet. Cette arme, du reste défectueuse, appartient à Jane, une fermière qui accepte de la céder au Kid, à la condition qu’il l’aide à construire un dispositif éolien pour actionner son puits. Tandis qu’il s’affaire à cette tâche, tout en réparant patiemment le pistolet, le nouveau venu se laisse charmer par les habitants de Barclay’s Brush et entame même une idylle avec la farouche Jane.
