CONGRATULATIONS! - Cinemaniax.Net congratulates our IDENTITY THIEF contest winners and gives them one of the double passes to the premiere at the Cineplex Odeon Forum Cinemas “formerly AMC“ (2313 St. Catherine St. West Suite 101, Montréal QC, H3H 1N2 (514) 904-1277), on Wednesday February 6th , 7:00 pm.
PROCEDURES - Show yourself, in between 6:05PM & 6:55PM at the Cinemaniax.Net staff member (near the entreance) with an ID Card to pick up you’re pass for two to see IDENTITY THIEF. Seats will be given for “first come first in” and will be prone to the availability of the seats. No purchase necessary.
IDENTITY THIEF - Horrible Bosses’ Jason Bateman and Bridesmaids’ Melissa McCarthy lead the cast of Identity Thief, an all-star comedy in which a regular guy is forced to extreme measures to clear his name. With everything to lose after his identity is stolen, he’ll find out how crazed you can get trying to settle a bad credit score. Unlimited funds have allowed Diana (McCarthy) to live it up on the outskirts of Miami, where the queen of retail buys whatever strikes her fancy. There’s only one glitch: The ID she’s using to finance these sprees reads “Sandy Bigelow Patterson”…. and it belongs to an accounts rep (Bateman) who lives halfway across the U.S. With only one week to hunt down the con artist before his world implodes, the real Sandy Bigelow Patterson heads south to confront the woman with an all-access pass to his life. And as he attempts to bribe, coax and wrangle her the 2,000 miles to Denver, one easy target will discover just how tough it is to get your name back.
Directed by Horrible Bosses’ Seth Gordon, Identity Thief is produced by Scott Stuber (Ted), Bateman and Pamela Abdy (upcoming 47 Ronin). The comedy co-stars Jon Favreau, Amanda Peet, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Genesis Rodriguez, Morris Chestnut, John Cho, Robert Patrick and Eric Stonestreet.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE - To be eligible for our IDENTITY THIEF contest, you must follow The Cinemaniax Page on facebook or follow us on our twitter account and then complete the participation coupon below before Monday, February 4th at midnight (11:59pm exactly!). The contest is open only to residents of the Greater Montreal Area.

Dans le monde des comédies de situation, le producteur Chuck Lorre a le vent dans les voiles, compte tenu du grand succès de “Two and a Half Men” et de “Big Bang Theory”. L’ancien producteur exécutif de la série “Roseanne” explore maintenant l’amour chez les personnes rondes dans “Mike and Molly”, créé par Mark Roberts et mettant en vedette Melissa McCarthy (de “Gilmore Girls” et “Bridesmaids”) et Billy Gardell (“My Name is Earl”). Mike et Molly sont respectivement un policier et une enseignante de 4e année de Chicago, qui fréquentent tous deux les Outremangeurs anonymes dans l’espoir du perdre du poids. Ils finiront par sortir ensemble et devront se faire accepter par leurs proches respectifs.

Critique: BRIDESMAIDS

Depuis quelques années, Judd Apatow s’est imposé comme nouveau roi de la comédie à Hollywood, grâce aux succès de “The 40-Year-Old Virgin”, “Superbad” et “Knocked Up”. Le réalisateur/producteur s’est associé à nouveau à titre de producteur avec le créateur de “Freaks and Geeks”, Paul Feig, pour le film “Bridesmaids”, mettant en vedette Kristen Wiig et Maya Rudolph, toutes deux de “Saturday Night Live”.
Ce film sur l’amitié et la rivalité entre femmes raconte l’histoire de deux amies d’enfance, Annie (Wiig) et Lilian (Rudolph). Cette dernière annonce qu’elle va se marier et demande à Annie d’être sa principale fille d’honneur. On fera connaissance avec les autres filles d’honneur, dont la nouvelle amie de Lilian, Helen et la future belle-soeur, Megan (Melissa McCarthy).
